Another sneaky hiding place for coconut and palm

I came across a term today that I have only seen infrequently, and typically in something that contained other palm products, so I never thought to look it up. But something that I used quite frequently now has it in the ingredients, and it didn’t have it the last time I bought it. Whenever a list of ingredients suddenly changes, it is always a kind of red flag to me to be extra careful in my checking of ingredients. What I found is called Medium Chain Triglycerides or MCTs.

After looking it up, it turns out that their primary source is coconut and palm fats, so if you have an allergy or sensitivity like mine, please be wary and keep an eye out for it. I have a link to the wikipedia article here.
